Welcome to TXB Datadock

Deep within the halls of this section of The X Bridge, you will find show guidebooks, the latest DVD reviews, shows you shouldn't miss, and interviews. One of the major reasons I created the revamped The X Bridge is so I could dedicate a section of the site to a weekly guide to the best action-animation as well as information about those that have come and gone and those that are yet to come.

This week's spotlight review is perfect for Halloween. Parasite Dolls is a darker look at the world first seen in shows like Bubblegum Crisis and A.D. Police. Sex, violence, and conspiracy. The stuff of high drama. Combine that with the Boomer action you've come to expect in Genom City with a little taste of an anime classic, and you have Parasite Dolls. For something a little lighter, check out the review for Peacemaker Vol. 1, a show that takes a cue from Rurouni Kenshin by mixing feudal action with comedy perfectly. Also, check out the Paper Sisters in the latest volume of R.O.D, which has the girls saying goodbye to Japan and returning home to Hong Kong. Of course, who could really go home again?

So, check it out, and hang around. This is still a work in progress, so please pardon the dust.
