Well, think Toonami with a small dose of the popular Adult Swim Sunday night block. While this block is more Toonami than Adult Swim, this will not only feature original promos and premieres like Yu Yu Hakusho (The Poltergeist Report, a series just as popular as Dragon Ball Z in Japan), the oft-delayed Pilot Candidate (Candidate for Goddess, a series that combines 3D and traditional cel animation not unlike Zoids), and Gundam, but this will also be the new home of Cowboy Bebop, an Adult Swim standard since its September debut. And with an ambitious and eclectic ambiance of Cartoon Network originals like Samurai Jack and Justice League along with Batman, Superman, Batman Beyond, and classic Hanna-Barbera action shows, this new Saturday night lineup is the best thing to happen to Cartoon Network since, well, the original Toonami Midnight Run.

Who needs sleep?

And people want to know, with the new Adult Swim Action lineup premiering in less than two weeks and shows originally scheduled for Toonami like YYH and Pilot Candidate now on this lineup, where does this leave Toonami? Is the block destined for destruction in its fifth anniversary, forever linked to a very unpopular broadcast block on Kids' WB?

No.

The blocks are both powered by the good folks at Williams Street Productions, and to be honest, they kind of have considerable power at Cartoon Network (heck, one of their own, Mike Lazzo, is the VP of programming at the network). Also, take notice that Toonami is a marquee block for the network, and acquisitions for the block are growing. More Dragon Ball, more Dragon Ball Z, more Gundam, and a whole lot of top-secret acquisitions (including a rumored original series) are in the pipes for the block. With more power than you can shake a lance at, Toonami won't be ignored in its fifth year by Cartoon Network.

So far, the response of the new look of CNX has been overly positive. I've read responses that it had a minimalist feel and a comfortable atmosphere to it. One of the main reasons why I changed the design is that I wanted more people to read it. Netscape's problems with the site were a bit perplexing, considering that I composed the original design on Composer. So, now, the site's more readable to potential visitors, which is always a good thing. Now, to those visiting for the first time, welcome to CNX. To those returning, welcome back and thanks for sticking around!

The HFIL is back at CNX. The Home for Infinite Losers has seen a slight change of venue in its own home on the site. A revamped overview of the original list of "Losers" is online in a sequential order, but there's also an update to the original list, which was a long time in the making. So many things and so many events have occurred, changing the list and the world as we know it. Check it out, right now!

Once again, it's curtains! 'Till next time CNXers, later!
