WATCH THIS SPACE #50: Have You Ever Noticed Nothing Happens Days After Change?
I would have posted this earlier today, but the news of the day distracted me. Living in a millitary town like I do as well as having family members in the military abroad, you got to pay attention to events like this, because you never know what happens next.

Toonami has introduced their new look and many of the Toonami fansites did likewise. It's kind of strange trying to fit that neo-Gothic old English-like logo to fit the general scheme of a site (ask my brothers over at Toonami Digital Arsenal, Toonami Infolink, and ANX). Fortunately, I planned long ago not to put too much emphasis on the new font, probably because I deemphasized the most recent font's presence on my site.

Anyway, Tuesday afternoon, I did get a bit of inspiration as I was watching Toonami. A lot of shows have premiered on the block over the past six years, but only a few of them have really made an impact, not just because of popularity, but for the importance it brought to Toonami. These are the shows that has made Toonami the most popular action-animation block on the planet. I had to narrow the list down to ten because, to quote George Carlin, "ten makes it sound official." Presenting

(GREETINGS, FROM THE FUTURE! You know, that Top Ten List back in 2003 was nice, but this list of 15 shows from early 2004 is slightly more accurate about the most important shows in the block's history. Three years has passed. Anybody wants to see a more current list? -JH, 7/10/07)

As we're looking at Toonami's present, what exactly will the future hold? I've hinted about possible shows that would come to the block. Some have been way out there. Some have been very close to home. I called these potential Toonami breakout shows Killer Apps. Due to popular demand, I'm making this a permanent part of the site starting Friday. I'm adding a few shows since the last time the articles were published, and updated a few of the original apps, so, um, watch this space!

Stay safe and stay cool, and if the fates allow, we'll do this again.

Until we are one, later.
