If you've never been to Absolution NeXt, I pity you. Powered by Cody Sifles (the artist formerly known as Discloner and Code Matrix), he currently has one of the best Toonami fansites online. I'm not saying that because he's a TICA soldier. I'm saying it because it's true.
Anyway, Code managed to get a hold on a hard man to contact, Toonami head muckitymuck Sean Akins. The last time Sean talked to the Toonami net community was way back in December 2000, when the block was coming off of it's best year. ANX has an exclusive interview with Sean right here. And if you like what you see there, check out what else Code has to offer at his site.
Did anybody see last weekend's episode of Spider-Man on MTV in the States and YTV in Canada? The one thing I enjoy about the series is that the writers are introducing a lot of original characters. They introduced The Gaines Twins, a pair of teens that has the ability to control the minds of many as well as control what they can do. They really did a number on Spider-Man, convincing him that a villian is responsible for the death of someone he knows and trusts. Now, Spider-Man is on a spree that will be very destructive to his image, not knowing that someone is controling his mind. Damn, what a good episode. You could check it out again (or for the first time) this Thursday at 1:30 AM on MTV and Friday after the conclusion (don't ask, MTV's logic is baffling to me).
On this date four years ago, Sega's last gaming machine, the Dreamcast, was launched. It was out for . . . two years? Wait, that can't be right, can it?
That's all for now. Sorry about the confusion for yesterday. Run to ANX now!
