WATCH THIS SPACE #89: Set Your Clocks Backwards This Weekend
It's that crazy time of year again. Time goes back an hour, and you have an extra hour to play with on Saturday night/Sunday morning. The world (well, the United States anyway) goes crazy when it's revealed that it feels like you're getting up a little earlier than usual. It's funny.

This isn't a normal Watchspace because it's going to end a lot sooner. I have a couple of interviews I'm waiting to hear back on as well as posting a couple of reviews and commentaries in the coming weeks. As you all know, I'm kind of interested in finding creators of worlds right about now. Granted I'm on a fool's errand of wanting them to join me, I at least want to make sure the public knows who they are whether or not I'm associated with them. Take for instance this guy I'm about to interview. He makes his own animated shorts and actually takes the time to tell the masses how its done and how you can do it yourself. That's pretty damned cool in my opinion, and I have to give the guy his props on taking time out of his busy schedule to talk to little ol' me.

Also, buy Looney Tunes: The Golden Collection starting this Tuesday. Why? Geez, didn't you see the front page with my explanations? But there is one other reason I didn't mention. If Warner Bros. realizes that there is a market for Looney Tunes DVDs, maybe they'll realize that there's also a market for restored MGM shorts (which they own) and Hanna-Barbera shows and shorts from their golden era (which they also own). I would actually kill for a restored season one release of The Flintstones or a complete Tex Avery collection like the one being released in France (only ours would have to be completely restored). You might wonder if a Tex Avery collection is in the works considering the Looney Tunes shorts that weren't in the first wave, particularly the Avery-guided ones. For the same reason, you need to buy the Rhinomation releases where availiable because for what it's worth, the (formerly) Warner-owned "retro" division is going to be the ones who bring old-school toonage back to the world.

That's all for now. See ya on the boards.
