The 10 Biggest Disappointments of Toonami

Fans of Toonami know that with every great moment the block has, there always has to be a moment of disappointment. I believe the Elric brothers would call it the Law of Equivalent Exchange.

There have been moments of greatness often followed by moments of disappointment. There have also been events that was much hyped only to be met with a lackluster response from the viewers. There have been shows that just seemed like they were placed on the block to frustrate the viewers. Often, these moments have led to the occasional emo response from the viewers in the form of the almost monthly "Toonami is dying" threads at every major Toonami forum.

While the block has remained for a decade, it hasn't been without bumps in the road along the way. There have been shows and events that were heavily hyped but never followed through and shows and events that had no business happening or airing on the block. Here's a list of ten of the biggest disappointments to ever occur on Toonami.

And for the record, I don't know how much of a disappointment the 10th anniversary presentation will be since I'm writing this days before it occurs. And this article only entails the US Toonami block, otherwise, my number one choice for a disappointing Toonami moment would be Toonami UK turning into a general entertainment network. That's just wrong.

(UPDATE: This article also doesn't address the post-anniversary presentation of Toonami either, which was part of perhaps the worst year in the history of the block - jh 3/6/08)

Let's begin.
