SB-01: Toon Disney 1.0 | Step 2: Representing Saban/Fox Kids/ABC

The shows of Saban, Fox Kids, and ABC have been kept under lock and key for so long.

They'll randomly show the occasional Fox Kids show like Xyber 9, NASCAR Racers, or Mon Colle Knights as well as Marvel-based properties which they used to have and The Tick, but, as you can tell, most of these properties are action-based and fit on the Jetix brand. The comedic Fox Kids-produced shows like Eek! The Cat, Mad Jack, and many others haven't been seen on American television in nearly a decade. The Saban-produced shows, aside from Power Rangers, also have vanished from the United States for some odd reason. While they could still be found on the air globally, the ABC productions have disappeared from the face of the Earth.

Aside from the brief ressurrection of School House Rock in the late 1990s/early 2000s (including a stint on Toon Disney) as well as Toon Disney's early broadcasts of Moo Mesa and Mr. Bumpy, nothing produced by ABC have been seen since the mid-90s. The Bod Squad and Timer nutritional segments (which would REALLY come in handy in this nutrition-conscious era we're entering), the Readmore segments and specials, and the animated ABC Weekend Specials haven't been seen in ages, and though Disney clearly has ownership over all of those segments and specials, they haven't done anything with them either because they were too old or they had no idea they still owned them.

At Disney Jetix, the forgotten Fox Kids, Saban, and ABC shows and specials would all have a place. Whether it'd be a perennial mainstay property like Eek! The Cat, seasonal specials, or weekend-only properties, the "acquisition" era of Disney should have a prominent place on the network. Disney Jetix could remaster the Bod Squad segments just as Disney had done with the School House Rock shorts. Both could have a place in the regular commercial rotation and planted in certain blocks where kids are more likely to watch.

Alright, I've decided to bring back the acquired properties that are now completely owned by Disney. How about the original Disney shows?
